This therapy, improved on the basis of traditional cupping therapy by the Treatment Center of myatrophy, is original, in which the Multi-grassy Oil, which is developed by ourselves, was chosen as the medium.

Theoretical basis

Pathological Studies on dead patients with myatrophy undergone by different medical institutes has demonstrated that, when the course of a patient suffering from myatrophy progresses to some stage, veins and arteries in the limbs don't appear full in consequence of amyottophy any more; on the contrary, this appearance of veins and arteries in limbs have influence on nutrients supply for the muscle and nerve systems, which finally results in malignant circle. According to this result, we believe, adoption of the external therapy with efficacy to "dredge blood and discompose blood clots" (TCM theory), and to "remove blood clots and develop fresh blood" (TCM theory) is effective for the patient to improve micro-circulation of the limbs, and to enhance restoration of the muscle and nerve systems.

The Multi-grassy Oil prepared by our center is made of quantities of TCM medicines to make the major and subsidiary vessels unblocked; while the cup moving therapy can form stagnation of blood at treatment locus so as to remove blood clots and develop fresh blood.

Preparation method

1.Preparation of the Multi-grassy Oil: Add the same quantity of medicines of mulberry branches and cassia branches as balm to fry in balm to make them withered, filter and cool the oil, and then it should be removed fever-caused toxic gradients to be used.

2.Smear fitful quantity of Multi-grassy Oil onto certain locus of the limbs according to distribution of the major and subsidiary blood vessels, then leave No 2 glass cup to absorb onto the locus with oil and pull back and forth 3-5 times till to make the treatment locus turn up venous stasis.

3.This therapy should be used once at interval of one day, 15 times as a treatment course.

Clinical efficacy

Since the hospital was founded, through observing treatments of some patients, we have found that this therapy can allay the symptoms of freight of coolness in the suffered limb and lower temperature of the skin, and facilitate recuperation of growth of the withered muscle for some patients.

In the clinical experience, we have discovered that this therapy has also potent efficacy for diseases of neck-back tendovaginitis, back sacrum strain and vasculitis.
